Tea Varieties
There are three major types of tea: black, oolong, and green. White tea is another type that is largely unknown outside of China where it is mainly produced in the Fujian province.
The tea plant (Camellia sinensis) has several variants from which tea is produced. The two most common are the Assam variety which produces malty, earthy drinks and the China variety which produces a more flowery drink.
